You can join WDVCAS NSW as a full member (WDVCAS NSW staff) or associate members (community).
Associate membership (community)
Support the work of WDVCAS NSW by becoming an associate member!
Associate Members benefiit from:
- regular updates on developments in the domestic violence sector,
- invitations to annual WDVCAS events,
- feedback on selected draft WDVCAS NSW papers and submissions.
An associate member is not entitled to vote at the annual general meeting, or any special general meeting of WDVCAS NSW; or nominate for election as an office bearer or ordinary member of the Board of Directors.
Full members (WDVCAS staff)
Full members of WDVCAS NSW are paid employees at a Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service who supports the purpose, aims and guiding principles of the association.
Full members of the association receive support from WDVCAS NSW, lobbying and advocacy on behalf of the member's service and regular sector updates.
A full member is entitled to:
- vote at the annual general meeting, or any special general meeting, of WDVCAS NSW
- nominate for election as an office bearer or ordinary member of the Board of Directors.
What does it cost to join?
Membership costs $30 per year, from 1 July to 30 June. For more information on the membership criteria refer to 2(2) of the association’s Constitution.
How do I pay for my membership?
Once you’ve received email confirmation from WDVCAS NSW about your membership application, please deposit your annual membership fee ($30 per worker) into the WDVCAS NSW bank account:
